Calendar
To add the Calendar Page Part to your page:
- Access the page you are wanting to work with by starting in the main Pages tab and then click on the page name you would like to edit. If the page is not created yet, create it.
- Click the "Add to this Page" link to expand the list of available page parts, and then
click on the 'Calendar' link. You
will notice that the Calendar Page Part will be added to the page.
- Click the 'Calendar' page part name to edit its title and call it what you would like. Click Save.
- Choose to display your calendar as a calendar or a list view, and click Save.
To add events to your calendar:
- Click the 'Create Event' button to add an event.
- Enter the event's main information including the title, dates, times, and recurrence patterns.
- If your event should not display on the public view of your site, simply mark the event as 'Private'.
- You can associate the event to an existing category by choosing the category in the category selection, or click the 'Manage' link to edit, add, and delete categories.
- If there is a related registration that you have already created using the 'Online Registration' page part, choose it from the Related Registration selection.
- Click Save to save the event.
To edit the Event Calendar's page part's name, click its name and edit it. Click save.
To
edit individual events on the calendar, double click the event you are
wanting to edit. After you are done editing, click 'Save'.
To delete an event, simply click the event as if you were going to edit it and then click the 'Delete' button on the event, and confirm the deletion.
To delete the Event Calendar page part completely, click the 'Red X' by the name, and confirm the deletion.
