The page editor built into the system is extremely user friendly and offers you all of your familiar text formatting tools. The editor makes it easy to put text and add images, audio or video right onto the page! Linking, creating tables and updating your content couldn't be easier!

How do I add customizable content to my page?

After adding the custom content page part to your page, use the editor to enter the content you would like to have. The editor will be similar to other word processing programs that you may have used in the past. It will allow you to enter text, insert media, work with tables, create links, and much more.

Can I insert media such as images on my page?

Yes. Click on any of the media insert icons to browse your media files and insert media on your page. Once images are inserted, right click the image to work with its properties such as borders, spacing, and alignment.

How do I create hyperlinks?

To create hyperlinks, click on the globe icon with a chain link on it. This will bring up the link creation dialog allowing you to create a link to another page on your site (internal page), external website address, file, email address and more.

Where are the font, color, and text size selection tools?

Currently, we've disabled the font, color, and text size selection tools when working with site pages. We've made this decision because we want all of your pages to be consistent with each other and flow well when it comes to fonts and colors. This saves you from Jane making her text a pretty pink and John making his page's text be orange and neither of those colors match your site. We've styled up the heading styles so that they match the look and feel of your site.

What about using html tables?

There are instances where you will want to use html tables to layout your content. Click on the table icon to begin creating and editing html tables for your page. Once the table is inserted, place your cursor within any cell that you will want to work with its properties, and right click. You will be given numerous options and properties to adjust.

The editing screen (editor) is small, how do I make it larger?

You can increase your editor size by clicking on the full screen option. This allows the editor to be much larger giving you more room to work. Click the button again to exit the full screen mode.

I see the 'save' button and save process is very fast, but is it really saving?

Yes. We've programmed our save process here to utilize 'Ajax' technology which does a lot of behind the scenes processing. This enables your saves and other updates to be more efficient and faster, thus saving you time!
