You can allow site members to participate in online discussions in multiple areas about multiple topics. For an added level of security, only site members can post information to your discussion board.

How do I add discussion boards to my page?
Once you've added the discussion board page part to your page give the new discussion board a name and click the 'Add New' button. Once you have created a new board, click the link of the name of the board, and you can create forums within the board. Finally, when viewing the forum live on your site, you are able to add topics which is what viewers will discuss.

What's the area's of the discussion board? I see discussion board, forum, and topics....
A discussion board contains forums which contains topics. This allows you to organize topics based on forums, and forums based on discussions.

What do visitors use to log into the discussion board to participate?
In order to log in and participate on discussion boards, viewers must have an active profile on your site.

What if someone posts something I don't want on the board, can I remove it?
Yes. You have full moderation rights over the posts. You can also allow others to moderate the forums by granting them moderator access within the forum options inside your admin area.

When visitor's participate are they notified of any new posts or replies from others?
If they choose to yes. 'Subscribing to this Topic' allows the visitor to get notified if any posts are made. Once logged in, there are numerous options available to the topic poster as well as others viewing the post. The below screenshot is from a test topic reply that we see once logged into the site.
