NOTES: You will be able to save both
Speakers and Categories so that you do not have to enter this
information manually every time you add an episode! Once you add a
speaker or category, it will be databased, so that you can easily
select it on your next episode if you need to! You do not have to
associate Media to your episode at first. You can enter all your
episodes first, then come back via 'Edit' and add your associated media
files at that time, should you prefer to do this. Otherwise, associate media with your episode.
With each episode, you can associate the following types of media:
- Audio File. The audio file must be in .mp3 format.
- Video File. The video file must be in .flv format. Our player size is a 400px X 300px format so try to get your video file as close to that as possible.
- Transcript File. The document file must be in .pdf format.
- When you are done Associating Media items to this entry, click
'Save Changes' to return to the overall archive's settings.
Settings For Associated Media
- Link to Download - If a viewer should be able to download the file that is playing at the time, select 'Yes', and a 'Download' link will appear in the player allowing them to download
that file. If you do NOT want them to be able to download the file,
then choose 'No', and the 'Download' link will NOT appear, thus
allowing them to play the file online only.
- Include in Podcast - If you choose to create a Podcast for the
archive that this entry is a part of, you can choose if you
would like to include each media file in this entry, in the podcast or not! To allow for a media file within the entry to be included in the podcast, choose 'Yes' for include in Podcast.
