Message Board
To add the Message Board Page Part to your page:
- Access the page you are wanting to work with by starting in the main Pages tab and then click on the page name you would like to edit. If the page is not created yet, create it.
- Click the "Add to this Page" link to expand the list of available page parts, and then click on the 'Message Board' link.
You will notice that the Message Board Page Part will be added to the
page.
- Click the 'Message Board' title to edit the title and call it what you would like. Click Save.
- Enter a Name for the Message Board
- Enter a brief description for the Message Board.
- Click Save.
To add new topics to your message board:
- Click the 'Add New Topic' button to begin the first entry.
- Enter a Topic Name.
- Enter the content.
- Click 'Save Changes' when finished.
To edit the Message Board page part's name, click its name and edit it. Click save.
To
edit entries within the Message Board, click the 'edit' link to the
left of the entry you are wanting to edit. After you are done editing,
click 'Save Changes'.
To remove a topic from your Message Board, you can temporarily remove it by checking the box to the left of the topic's name and then click the 'Archive' button. To remove the topic completely, click the trashcan icon to the left of the topic's name..
To delete the Message Board page part completely, click the 'Red X' by the page part's name, and confirm the deletion.
