Page Alerts

The Page Alert function allows you to add a pop-up window on your page (via css) so that a user can see a message when a particular page loads. This is handy if you are needing to post an 'alert' such as an announcement, news update, change, cancellation, or maybe even a coupon code.

There are several settings when working with page alerts such as setting the date range the alert should be displayed to and from, as well as, should it display for the same viewer every time they load the page.

To add a Page Alert to your page click the 'Set an Alert' link near the top of your page within the admin area.

Once the alert has been activated, you can work with its settings to fully create and activate the alert.

  1. Type the message you'd like to display in the alert window.
  2. Set the options.
  3. Check the enabled box to turn the alert on.
  4. Set the date and time range that the alert should be displayed to and from.
  5. If the alert should always display even if a viewer has seen the alert and reloads or returns to the page, check the box to 'Require visitors to see this each visit.'
  6. If you would like to wait a few seconds before loading the alert, set the time in seconds.
  7. Click the 'Save' alert button to save and click the 'Close' link to close the alert editing window.
