Page Parts

Page parts allow you to add different types of content to your pages. You can have a block of content at the top, followed by a blog, followed by some more content! You can lay out your pages as you would like.  Your site design will expand vertically to allow for as much content as you would like to add.

Adding Page Parts

To add page parts click on the 'Install Page Part' button to add a new page part to your page in that location.

Editing Page Parts

You can edit a page part by hovering your mouse over the page part's top bar and accessing the flyout menu to the right that contains an 'edit' link. 

This allows you to adjust the page part name, the page its installed on (if you want to easily move the page part to another page without deleting it and recreating it) and its published status. You can have page parts that exist on your page but that are not published.  This allows you to work on them behind the scenes until you are ready for them to go live.

Deleting Page Parts

You can delete a page part by hovering your mouse over the page part's top bar and accessing the flyout menu to the right that contains the trashcan icon.  Click the icon to begin the process of deleting the page part from the page. 

You will be given two options.  First, you can choose to 'uninstall' the page which will allow the page part and its contents to exist behind the scenes and you can later go back to the main 'Page Parts' tab of the system to find and re-install it on any page you would like.  This saves you from deleting the content now only to recreate it later on. Yes, uninstalled page parts still count against the allowed hosting quantity of that item available to you.

Reordering Page Parts

You can easily reorder your page parts by clicking on the 'Reorder Page Parts' button which will allow you to drag and drop the page parts around, then click save.
