Photo Gallery
To add the Photo Gallery Page Part to your page:
- Access the page you are wanting to work with by starting in the main Pages tab and then click on the page name you would like to edit. If the page is not created yet, create it.
- Click the "Add to this Page" link to expand the list of available page parts, and then click on the 'Photo Gallery' link. You will notice that the Photo Gallery page part will be added to the page.
- Click the 'Photo Gallery' page part name to edit its title and call it what you would like. Click Save.
- Choose the type of gallery view you would like to have. If you would like to list out all the images as thumbnails on your page, choose the 'Thumbnail List' option. If you would like to have the first image in your list of images be the only thumbnail shown on the initial page load, choose the 'Cover Popup' option.
- If you would like to display captions, check the box that says 'Display Captions'. You can toggle this on or off at any time and caption's display properties will be updated after you save.
- Click the 'Add New' button to add new image one at a time into your gallery. If you have a Flickr account, you can click the link to use your Flickr photostream instead of adding images one by one into the photo gallery.
- Enter a Caption for the Photo that is being added.
- Choose the picture from your library of files by clicking the 'Choose' link.
- Repeat steps 4 - 7 to continue adding images into this single gallery.
- Click Save.
To edit the Photo Gallery page part's name, click its name and edit it. Click save.
Toedit photos within the Photo Gallery, click the 'edit' link by thephoto you are wanting to edit. After you are done editing, click 'SaveChanges'.
To remove a photo from your gallery, you can temporarily remove it by checking the box to the left of the photo's name and then click the 'Archive' button. To remove the photo completely, click the trashcan icon to the left of the photo's name.
To delete the Photo Gallery page part completely, click the 'Red X' by the Gallery name, and confirm the deletion.
