News Widget
This module allows you to display a list of latest news on your site from any news archive page part that you choose on your site. This is useful if you have an area within your site design for latest news, or if you are just wanting to display a quick list of news entries from an existing archive on your page.
To add the News Widget to your site:
- Access the page you are wanting to work with by starting in the
main Pages tab and then click on the page name you would like to edit.
If the page is not created yet, create it. Click the "Add to
this Page" link to expand the list of available page parts, and then
click on the 'News Widget' link. You will notice that the News Widget Page Part will
be added to the page.
- Select the News Archive page part you would like to use. Our system will search all of your pages and display a list of news Archives used throughout your site. This allows you to choose the archive that your latest news will be displayed from.
- Select the number of news entries from your chosen archive that you would like to display.
To edit the News Widget page part, you can simply change the entered information above and click save.
To delete the News Widget page part, simply click the 'Red X' beside the page part name, and confirm the deletion.
