Coupon

Setting up a coupon for your website's store checkout process can be done easily using the Coupon page part and your Promotions section of the store tab within the admin area. The coupon page part allows you to present an 'ad' type view of your coupon code to attract visitors attention to it and therefore help you produce sales.

A completed coupon page part will appear as the picture below on your site.

To add a coupon to your page, access and edit the page you are wanting to add a coupon to. Select the appropriate content area. Main is selected by default. Next, click the 'Install Page Part' button.  The Coupon page part can be found under 'Apps'. Select the Coupon page part and give the Coupon page part a name. 

Next, enter the appropriate information for your coupon, including the Headline, Description, Fine Print, and Start / End Dates. Click Save. Your coupon ad will now display on your page.

The starting and end dates for the coupon will allow it to only display during that date range so you could create the coupon in advance and not have the coupon display until a future date, as well as, stop displaying once the 'end date' has passed.

Promotions

Now that you have created the coupon 'ad', you'll need to access your Store tab > Promotions sub tab to create a promo code that is mentioned in your coupon. Click here to read more about setting up and managing store promotions.
