The Portfolio page part allows you to showcase your organization's Projects. You can display multiple images, tags, and details for each project.
To add this page part to your page, access and edit the page that you are wanting to add the page part on. Click on the 'install page part' bubble and choose the 'Apps' tab. Select the 'Portfolio' page part and give the page part a name. You will see the new page part on the page.
Click the settings tab to set the behind the scenes display settings to be used for the portfolio views. Here you will set the display mode that the portfolio app will display thumbnails and details views.
Click the 'Projects' tab to begin adding and monitoring your projects. On the projects tab view click the 'New Project' link to begin adding a new project.
Enter the appropriate information that is needed for the project. You can decide to select the checkbox to 'publish' the project which will allow it to be displayed live for your website visitors. Otherwise, if you leave unchecked, the project will not display yet on the live view of the page. When you are finished adding the project, click the 'Save Project' button.
Once the project has been saved, you can then begin to add 'tags' to the project which work as filters for your website visitors when viewing your portfolio. Think of tags as categories that your viewers may want to filter your projects by. Click the 'Add new group' link to begin adding tags to your project. The Tag Group will allow you to group specific tags underneath.
Type the name of the tag you want to add and click the 'Add' button. If you previously created a tag, you can choose the dropdown list to find and select your tag rather than having to type it out for every new project.
Once you have selected your tags, you can begin working with adding images to your project. Click the 'Add new image' link to add images to your project.
Select your image from the library of files loaded into your account by clicking on the 'Select Image' link. Enter the caption that you would like to display with the image when the project is being viewed live.
When you are finished adding the details for your project, click the 'Save Project' button, and then click the 'Back to Projects list' link to go back to a listing of all the projects in the page part.
To edit a project to change any of the project's main properties, associated tags, images, etc. click the 'edit' link in the listing of projects to edit the project.
To delete a project, click the 'delete' link in the listing of projects to delete the project.
