Blog Commenting - Disqus

Add Disqus to your blog for commenting with lots of features. After you create your Disqus account be sure to explore all they offer to make blog comments very valuable.

Step 1: Sign up for a Disqus account

*Note - Disqus allows you to integrate with Facebook commenting too, so there are benefits to creating your account with your Facebook profile.

Step 2: I want to install Disqus on my site

Step 3: Complete the site information and then “Create Site”

Step 4: Choose your plan

Determine which plan meets your needs and fits your site. After you do this, you’ll be sent an email for verification. You must complete the verification process.

Step 5: Get the code

Scroll to the bottom and get the “Universal Code”

Step 6: Copy the ALL OF the first gray code block.

In a separate tab (do not close your disqus.com tab), open the Admin view of your blog and choose the Settings tab and paste the code into the box. The additional settings are optional. Step 7: Replace everything in the red box with this code (you can click and drag the lower right corner of the text area to make it large enough to see all the text).

Step 8: Check the results

Now, load a blog detail view on your site and you should see the new Disqus comment feature.
