Sometimes you can solve issues by deleting your browser's cookies. In Chrome you can do this by clicking the "i" or padlock to the left of the website's URL or your address bar.
Choose Cookies from the first list.
Select the top Cookie in the list and choose Remove. Continue to remove cookies until they are all gone. Note: DO NOT Block cookies, that'll cause more problems.
When you're done, reload the page and log back in.
Also note that clearing your browsing history does not affect a your browser's cache nor a site's cookies. A "hard refresh" doesn't affect cookies either. To remove them, you have to manually delete them.
