How Do I Add a Default Value to a Form Field?

A default value allows a text field to have sample content that will appear in a form field upon load.

Follow the directions below to add a default value to a form field.

1. Select a form field to open up the field details.

2. Enter text in the Default Value field. The Default Value will appear in the preview above the field options.

3. Select `Done` to save the default value.
